Circuit Preaching Plan

The Plan for September - November has been distributed electronically and printed copies allocated to those who had so indicated. Please contact David Easson if you wish your name added to either list or if more printed copies are required for the vestibule table.

Dundee Methodists and Food Banks

We support the Dundee Foodbank by bringing in any of the suggested items from the Shopping List (on the table on the upstairs landing) and placing them in the large blue Bucket provided nearby. An explanatory slip is also available. There is also need for plastic carrier bags of suitable size; please place any spares by the Bucket. Monetary donations are also welcome. Contact Liz Kay for further information.

World Church News: links with Uganda

In August the Rev Dr Malcolm McCall (District World Church Secretary) and his wife Janet took part in an initiative arising from a suggestion by the Rev Dr Tom Kisitu, in cooperation with the Connexional World Church Relations office, and Cliff College, for a team of lecturers to provide introductory training for Methodist Church Uganda.

A “pathfinding programme” took place in Jinja from 29th July to 2nd August. (Jinja is where the Nile flows out of Lake Victoria.)

A copy of Malcolm's Report is on the library noticeboard (or available by email from the Eassons), with the McCalls' Prayer Letter which has complementary details of the visit and training.
