We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.
Holy Week
- Dundee City Centre Churches will share in
- Maundy Thursday Meal at 7.30 pm in Marketgait, hosted by Dundee
Methodists. This time of table fellowship and conversation will also
include a sharing in Communion;
- Good Friday “Walk of Witness” from 12 noon:
meet at
St Andrew's Cathedral
;
- Good Friday Ecumenical Service at 7.30 pm in the
Salvation Army Citadel, West Marketgait.
A warm welcome is given to everyone to join our sisters and brothers
in Christ for these Holy Week events.
- The Broughty Ferry Churches Group will share Services:
- “Stations of the Cross” at 6 pm on Monday in
Our Lady of Good Counsel, Westfield Road, Broughty Ferry (map);
- Evening Worship on Tuesday at 7.30 pm in
Broughty Baptist Church, 86 St Vincent Street, Broughty Ferry;
- Lunchtime Service at 12 noon on Wednesday in
Our Lady of Good Counsel, Westfield Road, Broughty Ferry (map) - please bring a
packed lunch;
- Passover Meal on Maundy Thursday in
New Kirk Church Hall, Queen Street
at 7.30 pm;
- Good Friday:
- distribution of Hot Cross Buns from 10 am to 12 noon, from 'centre'

Please also note that this year there will be NO “Resurrection
Event” in the Caird Hall which was unavailable (but there
is one in Perth!).
Christian Aid
The 12th annual sponsored Tay Bridge Crossing will take place Saturday 23rd April from 2 pm.
Bible Reading Group
There will be no meetings of this Group in April. Support is invited for the ecumenical Maundy Thursday Meal in Marketgait at 7.30 pm on Thursday.
Support other Organisations
Scottish Bible Society
Our support through the Bible-a-Month Club is invited for work
in April for work in Chile. See noticeboard in library area for more
information. Our prayerful attention is drawn this week to
- Revised New Testament now available in Guyana in the indigenous Patamuna language;
- challenges and demands facing the Brazil Bible Society in a country of many social contrasts;
- unity and working together among the people of Ecuador;
- regular SBS contact and fellowship with the Methodist Homes Auchlochan retirement village, Lesmahagow
