We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.

“Church Consultation”

At its meeting on Wednesday, the Church Council (in line with the other Councils in the Circuit) had an initial discussion looking to the future of our own church congregation, the Circuit, District and Connexion in the light of the demands and challenges facing the Church as a whole and in its various parts.

To help our representatives to a Special Circuit Meeting on November 23rd present “the view from Dundee”, the Council has decided to convene an Open Meeting for ALL Dundee Methodists and friends, over and after a faith lunch following worship on Sunday 6th November.

Invitations and further background information will be given out in the near future, but EVERYONE is urged to note this very important date now and to try to arrange attend and share in the conversation, if at all possible.

Traidcraft Orders

Margaret is willing to take orders direct for goods seen either in catalogues (available on Vestibule table) or on-line www.traidcraft.shop.co.uk . Postage will not normally be charged. Support for regular after-worship sales is also welcome!

Church Photocopier

Please note that there are no photocopying facilities in Marketgait at present. The Church Council agreed that the Finance & Property Committee look at provision of suitable equipment in the context of local and circuit requirements.

“Singing the Faith”

The copies ordered from Methodist Publishing through Jenny should arrive soon; she will then contact those who have placed orders to arrange delivery. No hurry about payment.
