then walk down together.

An invitation is given to Circuit colleagues to join
their friends in
St John's, Ponderlaw Street, Arbroath on
Sunday 30th June for an introduction to hymns from the new
Methodist hymnbook “Singing the Faith”.
Please note that the starting time has been put back
to 2.30pm - it was advertised as 2pm in the Circuit Diary.

Scottish Bible Society
Support through the Bible-a-Month Club is invited in June for work in The Philippines.
Our prayerful attention is drawn in forthcoming weeks to
- translators working on 20 different projects in Burma, especially those in remote regions;
- 'The Australia Big Bike Ride' covering 7,200 km over 64 days;
- project to present the Gospel in audio format to minority ethnic groups in Laos;
- use of audio New Testaments in new churches in rural areas of Bangladesh;
- new Fijian Bible in contemporary language, released in March;
- Samoan Audio New Testament launched last year, also setting up of mobile bookshop;
- completion of Jarai and Koho New Testaments in Vietnam;
- completion of the first ever Hebrew-Arabic Bible in Israel, and resources for its distribution.
Mary-Lily Walker Centenary
Mary-Lily Walker founded Scotland's first Infant
Health Service and first Nursing Mothers' Restaurant.
The community centre that she established, Grey Lodge
Settlement, still serves families living in the city.
