One World Week

The 2006 One World Week this week is on the theme MIND THE GAP
  • between winners and losers
  • between words and actions
  • between 'friends' and 'enemies'.

For more information, contact the One World Centre, Princes Street, Dundee, and keep an eye out for news of events in the local press.

“One World Week provides the space for people from diverse backgrounds to come together to learn about global justice, to spread that learning and to use it to challenge inequality, discrimination and degradation, locally and globally.”

Next week's news-sheet

This will cover 2 weeks - ie no publication on Sunday 5th November. Please let us have any information / news of events up to 12th November as soon as possible: thanks - Jenny & David.

Chairs

“Worship Area: I would like to record the thanks of all the Stewards and, I am sure, of all the congregation, to the people who faithfully clear away the chairs each Sunday, and to the small team of volunteers who set them out in readiness for Sunday morning.
Thanks are due to Sheila for up-dating the plan giving guidelines for positioning the chairs. (This is on the inside of the door of the sound-system cupboard.)
Since we now have a regular booking for Friday evenings, the church cannot be prepared until Saturday or early Sunday. If anyone who is not already involved feels they can help our church worship by helping on the “Chair rota”, please speak to me or any of the Stewards.”
