Dundee Methodist Church

03 June 2007

Next Sunday: 10 June 2007

10.45 am
Worship led by the Rev Mary Patterson
General Church Meeting

We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.

Broughty Ferry Pulpit Exchange

We welcome the Rev Dr John Cameron of St Stephen's & West Church of Scotland to lead worship in Marketgait today. Keith Pearson is at Broughty Ferry New Kirk and Jenny Easson in St Stephen's & West.

General Church Meeting - next Sunday

Please note that the Rev Mary Patterson has requested that worship next Sunday start at 10.45 am to try to minimise any feeling of 'the pressure of time'.

Worship will provide the context for GCM business, including discussion about our present and future witness as Methodist people based in Marketgait, Dundee. As it is important that everyone has the opportunity to take part, there will be provision for child-care upstairs.

Circuit Plan

Copies of the latest edition of the Circuit Plan for keeping or distributing are on the Vestibule table.

Methodist Conference

Please remember preparations for this year's Conference in Blackpool from 5th to 12th July. 'tricia & Sandy and David E are among the District's representatives.

The Methodist Church's online forum is a means of discussing topics of current interest and wide-ranging issues of concern. It was created with the aim of providing a friendly space to exchange views on 'hot topics' and the implications for faith. It also acts as a resource for further reflection and work. Interested?
